Collision Industry Bio for John Leddy
For
32 years, John Leddy has been involved in the Collision
Repair Industry. John started his career as a shop clean up
worker at Precision Auto Body in Chicago, Illinois. Soon
after, he took to his trade and started prepping Corvettes
for restoration under the guidance of his mentor: Paul
Zenkovich.
At
the age of 19, he opened his first collision repair shop in
Park Ridge, Illinois called Craftwork Auto Body. This led
him to expand to a larger shop in early 1980.
In
1985, John moved to Washington State where he started to
sell Continental Collision Repair Systems’ frame equipment.
8 years later, Continental was purchased by Chief Automotive
Systems which promoted John to the position as Northwest
Regional Manager for Chief.
Today, John is the Northwest Distributor for Car Bench,
Kansas Jack, Brewer Automotive, Maxima, Wedge Clamp Systems
and numerous other companies. |
